Please join us at The Conduit Club in London for an evening discovering “From Field to Sea: Global Lessons in Food Production” inspired by Jenny Jefferies’ book “Islands In A Common Sea: Stories of Farming, Fishing and Food Around the World”, published by Meze Publishing, on Monday 21st September at 6:15pm.
There will be 3 x short films adapted from 3 x chapters from Islands In A Common Sea plus a panel which will be chaired by Mallika Basu and will feature Jenny Jefferies (Award-winning Author, Food Writer, producer and Campaigner), Colin Ramsay Director at Dragonlight Films, and John Cherry of Groundswell Agriculture. Islands in a Common Sea is a docuseries based upon the award-winning book that explores the livelihoods of farmers and fishermen around the world with a focus on how regenerative food production can help restore nature, feed people and reconnect us to our food, land, sea and communities.
“Islands In A on Sea” is supported by The Grateful Film Fund and is actively looking for investment to help adapt Jenny Jefferies’ award-winning book into a global documentary-series.
